ご存知のように、Sex And The Cityの原作は、「Candace Bushnell」のSATCだが、テレビドラマは、原作とは、かなり違います。
実は、テレビドラマ版の洋書があります。
非公式ではありますが、テレビドラマのエピソード毎に書かれているので、すごくわかりやすいですよ。
トレビア話やファッションの話なども書かれているので、何回も読んでしまいました。
しかも、英語の勉強としても役立ちますよ。
出来れば、テレビドラマを見てから読んだ方が、「あ、、あのシーン」とか思い出すので、Good。
ドラマを見ていなくても、ある程度は内容がわかるはず。
英語も複雑ではないので、結構わかりやすいですよっ。
Sex and the city好きには、おすすめ。
英語勉強中の人にもおすすめです。
ちょっと面白い洋書としては、
「日本語を学んでいる人用」の洋書です。
全部読んでないんですが、アトランダムにたまに本を開くと、笑えます。
簡単に紹介すると、「日本語のスラング」紹介本です。
でも、ここに出てくるスラングは、「えっ？」と思うものもあります。
「古すぎ」や「こんな言葉使ったこと無い」などなど・・
例えば、
日本語「NEKURA」→英語「Depressed or negative」
日本語「DEKORU」→英語「To apply a thick layer of make-up」
(ex)日本語
「ソンナニ デコデコ デコッテモ、アイツ キモチ ワルイ ダケダヨ」
→英語
「She's slapping that makeup on by the pound, but she still looks like shit!」
こんな感じで載ってます。
日本語勉強している人用ですが、英語勉強用としても役立ちますよ。 遊びながら英語の勉強って感じかな。
今、読んでいる洋書は、２冊です。↓
（日本語の本も並行して読んでいて、さらに、読むのが遅いので、時間がかかります・・・）
Self-Improveものですが、
かなり古いですが、日本語名では「７つの習慣」の原版「The 7 Habits of Highly effective people」を読んでます。これは、私にはちょい難しい１冊です。
もう１冊は、友人から借りている、
「Slaves of New York」これは８０年代のNYの女性についての本。
まだ読んでいる途中ですが、８０年代は、今のNYとはかなり違うので、SATCのような「明るい」感じでは無いですね。
その当時のNYは、かなりDangerous Cityでしたよね。
（私は、２０００年になってから行ったので、そのDangerousな雰囲気はわかりませんが・・・）
洋書を読む時は、なるべく分からない単語があっても飛ばして読みます。辞書を引き出すと、全然進まなくなり、「やーめた」になっちゃうから。 でも、１ページ読んでも「分からない、分からない」となっても、２ページ目くらいになると、なんとなく「内容」がわかるようになってきます。 それでも分からない時は、辞書引いて確認します。
洋書はなるべく多読するようにしているので、出来るだけ辞書無しで続けてます。
でも、「あー分からない、やーめた」って本は、何冊もありますよ・・
ちなみに、「７つの習慣」の英語版「The 7 Habits of Highly effective people」は、辞書無しでは難しい〜。内容が推測できないのは、辞書使った方が良いですよね。
※最初に読んだ洋書は、初心者の有難い味方「シドニーシェルダン」でした・・ 飛ばし読みでも内容がわかりましたよ。

更新しなさ過ぎでした・・・
実は、スクリプトの更新をしないといけないんですが、スクリプトを仕上げていないので、今日は、スクリプトの更新出来ません・・・反省。
今まで、スクリプトを更新せねばと強迫観念があったので、何も更新できませんでしたが、今後は、スクリプト以外のことも書こーと思います。
さてさて、Sex And The City 関連の話でいくと、
ちょっと前の記事になりますが、
Sex And The Cityの原作者であるCandace Bushnell の
最新作"Lipstick Jungle" 。今回は、
４０代のリッチでキャリアな３人の女性のストーリー。
彼女たちは

黒のアメックスカードってプラチナの上で最上級よね。。（多分・・）
何しろ、リッチなサクセスフルな女性たちみたいですよ〜。
私はまだ読んでないです。 読んだ人は感想教えて下さい！

ところで、今年の年末には、New Yorkに行こうと思っていたけど、行けない状況。
というのは、NewYork行きの目的は、遊びではなく、仕事で行く！と決めたのです。
今まで目的は、「All遊び」だったんですが、ビジネスを再開（こんなこと書いてもわかりませんよね・・）するので、ビジネス関連で行く事に決めたのです！
ということで、NYへのフォーカスをビジネスに変えているところです。
すぐには、NYと結びつけるプロジェクトが浮上するかどうかわかりませんが、私としては、as soon as possible でビジネスモデルを考えてます。
